Debrief 001 | [Action/Voice] | Déjà vu?
[Coulson wakes up, trees to his left and right and a path right in front of him. A short distance down the path and to the right he can see a house, actually he can see a few houses from where he is. Everything seems familiar.
The sensation of familiarity is disquieting at first, until everything comes back.
Well... that explains a lot.
Coulson looks around and spots his journal, but sadly there are no clothes this time. So he's stuck in the usual new feather garb of white pants. After being in dark suits for most of his life, he's not sure he likes those pants. With the nice new scar on his chest and back, he's not sure he likes the fact he's shirtless. Also, there is a chill in the air which makes being shirtless very uncomfortable.
Using the mountains and the river, both to his left, he manages to orient himself. With this knowledge he heads towards town center to visit the clothing shop and get dressed. You may run into him a he heads to the clothing shop. Feel free to notice the fresh looking scar almost directly over his heart (but not actually) and the bigger one on his back. Coulson may greet you, but mainly he's focusing on getting to the clothing shop. Unless things happen.]
((ooc; Location is over by House 4, just a short distance up the path leading towards the farmlands.))
[After getting clothes and after whatever adventures happen while he was getting clothing, Coulson puts together a first new post to the Luceti community.]
Greetings Luceti.
My name is Phil Coulson. I have been here before a few months back before... leaving and it seems I have returned.
As far as I know I don't have any unfinished business from before, but If I did have some with you please remind me.
I have probably missed a lot, but is there anyone whose willing to give me a brief summary of things I've missed? I'd be grateful.
[Small pause.]
I think that's all... No wait, Rogue, do you still need help at the item shop? Sorry for leaving you in the lurch.

[Voice]
[There's a sound of something crashing on the floor on the background and Loki has to turn away from his journal for a moment so he can yell at his dog.]
Thori! You are not a good dog!
[He returns a couple of minutes later.]
I am back.
[Voice]
Coulson is intrigued now.]
So I see. Everything alright? Did Thori break anything?
[Voice]
Thori always has a tendency to break something. But I'm training him to be a good dog.
[Voice]
I'm sure he'll become a good dog then.
Where did you get the name from? It's not one I've heard before.
[At least not a dog. It almost sounds like one of those modern names parents give their kids out of misguided kindness. Or pure child abuse. He isn't sure which it is really. Considering the root of the name is 'Thor' he wouldn't be surprised if, after what happened in New York, people named girls 'Thori' or 'Thorina' in tribute. ...Sometimes, he despairs for the human race.]
[Voice]
[Loki does not answer questions for free, stranger.]
Speaking of names, what is your name?
[Voice]
[Smart Kid.]
I'm Phil Coulson. And you are?
[Voice]
[Of course he is.]
Hello Phil Coulson. My name is Loki.
[Voice]
[Oh...
Well, at least now Coulson knows why his speech is a bit off.
Keeping in mind the key fact that people from different universe are here Coulson reign in the immediate urge to snark. Also, he's already talked to his world's Loki. He doubts it's that Loki playing with him. Not enough icy snark.]
Nice to meet you, Loki. You are much more pleasant than your larger counterpart.
[Voice]
[Oh, but Loki can snark as well.]
Aye! But...it can also be a trick. I could also pretend to be a lovable pre-teen Loki while I am actually a tall, brooding man who likes to invade Manhattan accompanied by a race of aliens.
[Voice]
[At least it's friendly-ish snark.]
Oh if you were that Loki, I'm sure there would have been some sort of subtle comment about our last interaction. But I suppose the idea isn't impossible.
[Of course, if it was a trick the best idea is not draw attention to it. Which you did. So the possibility of this being big Loki just being a dick is low. Either that or the best use of reverse-reverse psychology ever.]
[Voice]
[Loki chuckles softly, amused.]
I could make a subtle comment about our last interaction if you'd like that.
[He figures it would not have been a good sort of interaction.]
Allow me to try, yes?
'You weren't so full of words when I last saw you' and insert evil cackle here.
[Voice]
Not quite accurate, but not bad either. The evil cackle is a nice touch. I don't know if he's prone to evil cackling however. He wasn't the last time we talked.
[Voice]
[Let Loki demonstrate how Loki would sound if he there would a situation where an evil cackle would be needed.
A couple of seconds later a creaking laugh comes out. Apparently Loki kind of blows at these kind of things.]
[Voice]
[Loki's laugh gets Coulson to raise an eyebrow because that was really bad. Even if Loki can't see it.]
You need to practice that.
[Voice]
[He frowns shortly when the other criticizes his evil cackle and starts to laugh afterwards.]
I think I shall refrain from that, after all...why should I need an evil cackle when I'm most definitely not evil, you see?
I was merely giving a striking example of an evil cackle.
[Voice]
[...That is the best mental image Coulson has had in a while.]
It was very... striking to say the least.
[Voice]
I am not sure about that. Most evil villains are most involved in the act of mass murder, diabolical schemes and making sure that brave heroes will not save the day.
[Voice]
That is true. Still, they must do something when they are not busy with mass murder, diabolical scheme and thwarting the heros.
[Voice]
Torture, perhaps? Inspecting their dark, dirty dungeons? Bullying their underlings?
A villain must have underlings, you see?
[Voice]
I've noticed that myself. You'd think they'd treat their underlings better, but many don't. I've seen many situations fall apart because of disgruntled underlings. You'd think they'd learn, after all 'You get more flies with honey than vinegar.'
[Voice]
[A short pause.]
Aye, because honey is sweet and vinegar isn't.
[Voice]
[Coulson smiles.]
Yes, that's the basic meaning. Also means if you treat people nicely, they are likely to work harder for you. In this context at least.
[Voice]
[Loki has a thoughtful expression on his face but chuckles afterwards.]
I like that phrase. You might not see it but I am giving you my thumb of great approval.
