Debrief 001 | [Action/Voice] | Déjà vu?
[Coulson wakes up, trees to his left and right and a path right in front of him. A short distance down the path and to the right he can see a house, actually he can see a few houses from where he is. Everything seems familiar.
The sensation of familiarity is disquieting at first, until everything comes back.
Well... that explains a lot.
Coulson looks around and spots his journal, but sadly there are no clothes this time. So he's stuck in the usual new feather garb of white pants. After being in dark suits for most of his life, he's not sure he likes those pants. With the nice new scar on his chest and back, he's not sure he likes the fact he's shirtless. Also, there is a chill in the air which makes being shirtless very uncomfortable.
Using the mountains and the river, both to his left, he manages to orient himself. With this knowledge he heads towards town center to visit the clothing shop and get dressed. You may run into him a he heads to the clothing shop. Feel free to notice the fresh looking scar almost directly over his heart (but not actually) and the bigger one on his back. Coulson may greet you, but mainly he's focusing on getting to the clothing shop. Unless things happen.]
((ooc; Location is over by House 4, just a short distance up the path leading towards the farmlands.))
[After getting clothes and after whatever adventures happen while he was getting clothing, Coulson puts together a first new post to the Luceti community.]
Greetings Luceti.
My name is Phil Coulson. I have been here before a few months back before... leaving and it seems I have returned.
As far as I know I don't have any unfinished business from before, but If I did have some with you please remind me.
I have probably missed a lot, but is there anyone whose willing to give me a brief summary of things I've missed? I'd be grateful.
[Small pause.]
I think that's all... No wait, Rogue, do you still need help at the item shop? Sorry for leaving you in the lurch.

Nice to meet you too Kurt. [The offer of friendship makes Phil slightly bemused but also a bit happy.] Well, thank you. Hopefully that'll still be the case after you get to know me better. [There is amusement in his voice to show he is kidding. Mostly.]
[Voice]
You seem nice enough already! [Unless of course you have some kind of mutant bias. But that's one point seeming unlikely by the whole 'Rogue friendship'.] What do you do for fun?
[Voice]
Why thank you. [No, nothing against mutants. Seems kind of silly to him to be scared or freaked out by people with extra abilities.]
Paperwork. [Is he joking? It's hard to tell.] I also read.
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Kurt's comment makes him laugh.]
Good to see you have your priorities straight.
[Voice]
[Voice]
Maybe in your world. Most of the cards are from when he was doing shows to sell war bonds. Some were made later.
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
Really? That'd be just neat. But... what, did you spill soda on them? I hate it when that happens.
Re: [Voice]
[If only it was soda. Actually soda would have been just as bad. Which is why he wasn't carrying them on him during a crisis situation! Ooo, if Fury ever showed up...]
No. More like blood. And it's all my bosses fault.
[Voice] ignore my accidental blue-form icon above lol
Blood. His eyes widen a bit at that. But... he tries to choose the more innocent approach.] Please tell me your boss is a vampire and he's a sloppy drinker.
[Voice] blue form? What blue form? All I see is a normal colored human boy. :|a
[If having a boss for a vampire is more innocent, your brain is very weird Kurt. But the image of Fury as a vampire and a messy drinker makes Coulson laugh slightly.]
Sadly no. Actually I'm not sure if it's my blood or someone elses... But he got it on my cards to make a point. And to bring the Avengers together apparently.
[Voice] exactly lol
And the possibility of it being Coulson's blood, that does weird him out a bit. ...Even if he doesn't know the half of it.]
Then your boss just has a really odd way of getting his workers motivated. What exactly are the Avengers?
[Voice] 83
Coulson is mainly pissed that Fury did it at all.]
Well. It worked. Ah, the Avengers are a group of well, superheros. Really it was more of a initiative than a group, but they came together as a team in the end. And stopped an alien invasion.
[Voice]
Whoa! An alien invasion? You guys got a bunch of superheroes to come together and beat aliens to avenge... a bunch of trading cards?
[Voice]
Uh. [Well that was an interesting conclusion.] Not exactly. [How to put this in a non-weird manner...?] I rather think they did it because the island of Manhattan was being destroyed by the aliens and a lot of people were getting hurt. I suppose the meaning behind the cards kick-started it, but I am sure they would have come together without the reminder of that sacrifice.
(ooc; Seriously I sat here giggling like a loon. The Avengers avenging Coulson ruined Captain America cards. /dies of laughter Best mental image ever! Thank you.)
[Voice]
Yeah, I guess that makes more sense. Superheroes do tend to do the right thing like that, at least in comics. Still sounds like a waste of some perfectly good cards, though.
(ooc: lolol thanks it had to be said.)
[Voice]
It was. If my boss ever shows up here, well. [Coulson cuts himself off.] ...I'll have some words for him.

And he can't really get a raise because he is
maybedead. But it's the thought that counts.]
