Debrief 001 | [Action/Voice] | Déjà vu?
[Coulson wakes up, trees to his left and right and a path right in front of him. A short distance down the path and to the right he can see a house, actually he can see a few houses from where he is. Everything seems familiar.
The sensation of familiarity is disquieting at first, until everything comes back.
Well... that explains a lot.
Coulson looks around and spots his journal, but sadly there are no clothes this time. So he's stuck in the usual new feather garb of white pants. After being in dark suits for most of his life, he's not sure he likes those pants. With the nice new scar on his chest and back, he's not sure he likes the fact he's shirtless. Also, there is a chill in the air which makes being shirtless very uncomfortable.
Using the mountains and the river, both to his left, he manages to orient himself. With this knowledge he heads towards town center to visit the clothing shop and get dressed. You may run into him a he heads to the clothing shop. Feel free to notice the fresh looking scar almost directly over his heart (but not actually) and the bigger one on his back. Coulson may greet you, but mainly he's focusing on getting to the clothing shop. Unless things happen.]
((ooc; Location is over by House 4, just a short distance up the path leading towards the farmlands.))
[After getting clothes and after whatever adventures happen while he was getting clothing, Coulson puts together a first new post to the Luceti community.]
Greetings Luceti.
My name is Phil Coulson. I have been here before a few months back before... leaving and it seems I have returned.
As far as I know I don't have any unfinished business from before, but If I did have some with you please remind me.
I have probably missed a lot, but is there anyone whose willing to give me a brief summary of things I've missed? I'd be grateful.
[Small pause.]
I think that's all... No wait, Rogue, do you still need help at the item shop? Sorry for leaving you in the lurch.

Oh, goody. Someone who actually appreciates his work. You don't know how many times I've been lectured on my career choices around here--by kids too!
Sheesh. You'd think that they'd have a little more respect!
Voice
Well, I can't say I'd appreciate seeing his work first hand, but I do appreciate his skill. Kids tend to see the world a bit more black and white, so of course they think your career choice is wrong. Don't take it personally.
Respect can be hard to get sometimes. Especially if your job isn't particularly interesting or is something they see as wrong.
Voice
So, what sort of work do you do, Phil?
Voice
Mainly paperwork for a large government-sanctioned organization called SHIELD. [Everything in that sentence is true, yet none of it truly explains what he does. Consider him a simple paper-pusher at your ow peril.]
Voice
No matter.]
Paperwork, huh? [With that carefree way of prying out information? Though, Lupin had to admit, he hadn't been trying very hard to keep it secret.]
Voice
Oh yes. SHIELD produces a lot of paperwork. Governments tend to like paperwork. And my boss doesn't like to do his, so I end up doing it a lot of time as well as my own.
[Fury has a love-hate relationship with paperwork. It's mostly hate.]
Voice
[He knows that he should remember, except
his mundane is lazyfor the fact that he often just didn't care about the details of the different worlds if they were too similar to his own. They simply didn't strike him as 'special']What kind of organization is SHIELD, anyway? Is it anything like the NSA, or does it have more in common with the ICPO?
Voice
Coulson thinks a moment, comparing what he knows about the NSA and the ICPO to SHIELD.]
It's a mix of both of those. We are loosely associated with America but mainly work worldwide.
Perhaps more like the ICPO overall.
Voice
Goddamn Americans getting their fingers in every pie~ That happens on your Earth too? [Not that he particularly cares, but he's a little tired of how obnoxious some people from the States can get to be.]
Voice
I'd say so. I think it has to do with the fact the American Government will fund things most countries think are crazy or impossible. Farther back, SHIELD can be associated with the Allied forces.

[Funny. Another man that he met a few cycles back said the same thing about his world.]
Voice
WHAT AN AMAZING COINCIDENCE.]

Voice
...hmm, this makes me wonder. How common are alien invasions in the different Earths anyway? It might be worth a poll.
Voice
Hopefully not that common... It'd certainly be an interesting statistic though.
