[Coulson appears in the video feed looking unusual cheerful. Of course, if you have been current with the happening of his life you will immediately notice the fact he is human once again.]

Never have I need so glad for opposable thumbs. Never thought I'd miss having opposable thumbs actually. Learn something new everyday... Oh and colors. Nice to see in color again.

[But that isn't the main reason for this. Coulson clears his throat before fiddling with a filter.]

Does anyone know where I might acquire a large amount of aluminum foil in a short amount of time? I am unsure if the grocery store would have enough for what I need it for and if there is anywhere else I could get some. Or if people would be willing to lend me some.

I was a cat as a result of a Malnosso kidnapping. A sort of personal shift as it were.

I take it you haven't been here that long, if you are questioning that. Weird things happen here quite regularly.

But uh, since November? So not too long. But I didn't think they turned people into cats.

Ah, I came back in November as well, but I had been here back in July as well.

[It's complicated.]

I must admit, it's not something that's overly common. But there haven't been any shifts that effect the body recently either so.

[Phil chuckles at that.]

It's not a bad idea to be prepared for most anything.

Then you probably have more experience than me with this stuff.

So I've been told. Shifts do a lot of weird things from what Mr.Kotetsu told me.

You kind of have to be though, don't you? If you want to keep others safe from what the Molasses people do.

Just a little bit. There was a shift around the end of July that had interesting physical effects. It gave me a bit of experience.

[Not including the insanity that working for SHIELD can expose you too. But he's not mentioning that.]

They do. The elves were relatively benign as Shifts go. As was the village changing event previously.

Very true. However we can't help everyone no matter how hard we try. We just have to do our best.

Many kinds. I personally always looked like someone else to different people, though it was an incomplete illusion. And the doors would teleport me to random locations.

Well, the small creepy Christmas elves. You didn't get one? As for more JRR Tolkien elves, well I'm sure there may be one or two in Luceti. I'm not sure actually.

Only if everyone wants to work together. Not everyone is so community inclined here though.

People can be stupid. It's a thing about humanity and about choice. You can choose to be stupid. Sometimes that's better than conforming.

[Some people you can't make get along for blood or money ~~or sex~~. It's the not so fun side of people.]

They weren't so bad. A little weird but not that bad.

Well, I did look like a villain he had fought before arriving here at the time. So, really who can blame him.

That's too bad. Cross would probably love them. Elves and adventures and good triumphing in the end... though not without trials and mistakes and death.]

Creepy doesn't mean they were bad. They were just creepy. Mine was regulated to the living room after watching me sleep.

There are some people who believe their personal freedom is more important than their life. And they will fight any attempt to help them if it means loosing some or all of their freedom. [He shrugs] That's simply how people can be. It's not a bad thing.

Just, frustrating if you are the one trying to help.

[That sounds like personal experience right there.]

Um...that's still kind of confusing, but I think I get it.

It's not an easy concept to grasp at times.

[Pretty much like that, yeah. Some people focus more on the fact that the superhero's aren't human or too powerful, rather on the fact they are being saved.]

It can be. On both sides. But viewing both sides of an argument is something I'm good at. It's okay if you don't quite get it. As long as you respect that choosing not to be helped is a valid choice. Even if you can't understand it.

Not being helped...it's kind of a sad thought if you really think about it.
